Grand Villa Location - Jambo House

I have a quick question. I'm able to do online check-in now for our upcoming trip. I booked a grand villa in Jambo House but am aware that the views in a couple of them aren't that great.

Does anyone know which area I should request or one to avoid?

Don't know what the choices are during online check in but be aware you can make requests through Member Services that are more specific than anything likely offerred in online check-in. There are six GVs and all actually have good views but I consider the better of the six the two along Kudu Trail facing Sunsert Savanna and the best of the six the one facing Sunset Savanna that is closer to the lobby near the last elevator that is on Kudo trail. My penchant for that one is that if faces west avoideing blinding sun in the morning and seeing pleasant sunsets in the evening and gives you the shortest walk to the lobby.

Per the DVC News, RoomFinder for AKV the GV's room numbers for Jambo House are:

5284 - Located at the end of the first spur off the Kudu trail, Sunset Savanna

5363 - Located at the end of the second spur off the Kudu trail, Sunset Savanna

5394 - Located at the end of the Kudu trail, Arusha Savannna

5483 - Handicapped accessible GV. Roll-in shower in master bathroom, with a shower curtain instead of a glass door. Located at the end of the first spur off the Zebra trail, next to the pool area. Uzima Savana

5564 - Located at the end of the second spur off the Zebra trail. Uzima Savanna; Expedition Everest in the distance There is a view photo on RoomFinder link above.

5593 - Located at the end of the Zebra trail. Arusha Savanna
