Grand Villa Capacity Q

Hi! A few years ago, we stayed in a 2 story Grand Villa at Animal Kingdom/Kidani. The official sleeping capacity is 12, but there was a full (maybe queen) sleeper sofa in the loft, with bedding, which increased the capacity to 14. I notice from videos of Bay Lake Grand Villas that the set-up is the same. Do any other resorts have extra "uncounted" sleeping space? I am not looking to exceed limits, but to understand my options to distribute 10 adults, 2 kids and a toddler.

I believe the media room's foldout bed is counted in the official 12-person capacity as follows:

• Master with king bed (2)
• Bedroom 2 with two queens (4)
• Bedroom 3 with two queens (4)
• Media room with foldout queen (2)

That said, the sofa in that room, along with a pair of sofas in the living room, could easily accommodate a few extra smallish people. These wont come with bedding though.

I think AKV and BLT are the only 2 with sleeping surfaces for 14. There are some people who just need to sleep by themselves for various reasons. The extra sleeper sofa in these two are ideal for that situation.

Bedroom 3- 2 full (tight fit for 4)

GV max is 12 plus 1 under 3. Some have extra space to help in sleeping assignment, but that does not increase the max of 12 + 1 under 3.

So there is no "well this increases it to X capacity".
