I'm joining DH in orlando on friday at the tail end of his golf trip with his BF. I have an ADR at the GF's Afternoon tea for a solo -any recommendations? I am an avid reader and have been a solo diner outside of WDW for years-am totally comfortable in a restaurant w/ a good book. But will it be rude to do this at the tea? I love reading about the Victorian Era- as well as most British History, and Dh would never go w/ me to this. I am soooo looking forward to it but don't want to be rude. ANy thoughts?

I don't think it would be rude at all! Enjoy!

That would not be rude at all.

You may not even want to read your book as the setting is so beautiful.

Have a great time!

I don't think that this is rude at all. As a solo person who travels a lot for business and pleasure, I do this all the time!

I am planning on doing the same thing at the Tea on 1/23! I am looking forward to enjoying a good book and a nice tea on my solo trip.

It sounds like you are another book love like myself - I read a lot of books. Have you read anything by Alison Wier? Any recommendations for Victorian Era - I really enjoyed Victoria's Daughters by Jerrold M. Packard. I am always looking for more to read (I probably personally keep Amazon and Barnes & Noble in business).

ttfn,
Tara

And if anyone is ever looking for a tea companion on a weekend, please PM me--I'm always up for it!

I used to do this all the time when Dh was gone! Go for it!
