Grand Prix RV club?

Have any of you done this? I looked it up and there will be one in St.Pete. We have never been to a race and thought it sounded like fun. There is also an area where you can park your boat. Both of these options you can see the race from your trailer/vessel. The NASCAR has something on July 4th, but that would be so stinkin hot! The St.Pete would be March. Any thoughts?

GPSTPETE - go to the web-site. View the map - I think that if you were in the boat your view would be very limited. Also, as far as being in any type of RV - travel trailer- I am really not sure how close up you would be in the parking you would be to view the race? We live near St. Pete and everyone we know - just sits in the bleachers?

I see in the pictures that you have to sit on your roof. Not great for someone afraid of heights... We might just go for the day so see the race and not make a deal out of it. I thought it might be fun, but not it I have to take a seditive before getting up the courage to sit "up top" Thanks!

That sounded like a good idea when you posted it, but like you I am afraid of height, there is no way I could get up, let alone get down from the roof of my MH.
