I've just been down the Bookies to place my bet. I've got a fiver (yes last of the big spenders) on JACK HIGH and NUMBERSIXVALVERDE

Well, we're the last of the big spenders in our house. Have got 6 horses (1 chosen by each member of the family) at £1 EW

We have a Grand National tradition in our house. Someone goes to the shop to buy the paper (usually the Sun), then we have bacon sarnies while deciding which horse we're gonna have (usually chosen by the colour of the jockey's jacket )

Then, we go out for lunch and come back late afternoon and watch the race while jumping up and down like loons, screaming the names of our respective horses

We've all went for £1 e/w bets. Mine is Innox, DP Jack High , DD Numbersixvalverde, DS Ross Comm and DD Sir Oj.

Guess the boards may be quiet at 4.15pm

Family Horse - Cornish Rebel

All have been backed E/W and a total of £20 has been staked

Well I had 4 horses in total, and apart from one, I didnt even hear the others mentioned I think they must still be running down the Melling Rd

The best laugh is that when I realised my horse was catching up, my hubby was shouting 'but you haven't got horse 6, valverde,' D'oh it's all one word you Wally !!
