Hi, I''ve been lurking for sometime and decided to come out of hiding.

My whole family is booked December 18-25 and tomorrow is our 90 day ADR mark.

I'm so nervous about getting the restaurants we want. We have 17 people.

We already have Christmas Eve booked at France for the Candlelight Processional.

Anybody every had this many people? This is what we are wanting:

Sunday 18 - Ohana
Monday 19 - Le Cellier
Tuesday 20 - 1900 Parkfare before MVMCP
Wednesday 21 - Germany
Thursday 22 - California Grill
Friday 23 - Everybody on their own doing double counter service to pay for CG
Saturday 24- Chef De France already booked
Sunday 25 - CRT or Chef Mickey's for Christmas breakfast.

I'm so nervous. We have 2 babies, 4 kids so late seatings are not an option for us. I'm probably not going to sleep tonight :earseek:

With a group that big, you will need to talk to group dining.

I would call them (ask for group dining through the regular dining #) today, just to find out what the drill is. Group dining is normally for groups larger than 8 I think.

Even for a group of 8 we had to go through group dining for one of the ressies. Can't remember which one though. :goodvibes

We did a large Grand Gathering in Feb, we had over 30 friends and family members. With group dinning you usually have to have either the first seatings or last seatings in the desired restraunt. Most won't guarantee a table together (they will seat you as close as possible to each other). Are you doing any of the actual Grand Gathering events? Our group really enjoyed the Magical Fireworks Voyage. We are having a small Grand Gathering (only 9 family members) Dec 15th thru the 23rd. We will be doing the Magical Voyage (again) and the Illuminations Dinner. We also enjoyed the Safari Dinner. Good luck!

I am in the process of booking a group of 24 and you definetly need to call ahead and book. You need to call Group dining at 407-939-7707. I know at 1900 Park Fare the only time you can eat there is at 4:00pm or 4:30pm. The people at group dining are very nice and will help you. I am booked at the Concourse Steakhouse at Contemporary and that has to be before 6pm and the Boatwrights at Port Orleans at 5:00.

Thanks everybody for your input. We got everything we wanted except Le Cellier. I dont think it was meant to be. I tried Le Cellier for CP and it wasnt available and now it wasnt available on this day either.

So we are going to try something else. Maybe Italian or Mexican for some variety.

We are a group of 11 and a 2yo going 18-24 Dec. I was able to get everything but CRT b-fast for the 23rd and we are looking into the Grand Gathering B-fast at Tony's which will have to be booked exactly 90 days out.
