When planning with a group - do you plan everyone dining together all the time or only for the grand gathering events?

Thanks! Have you been to Disney with a grand gathering group before? or do you know if there is a thread of groups who have? I LOVE to plan but am feeling a little pressure planning for everyone....tips & help appreciated.

We have gone with a group of 18 family members, this year will be 21. We have a promise to each other that we are all on vacation and are not committed to do anything together although we go to the parks the same days but some of us have kids the same age and others don't so we sometimes meet up throughout. We also eat together, not fancy a couple of times but again the best grand gathering is a non stressful one because we are all on vacation.

WOW! That is a large group! How do you manage to get a consensus on anything?? I agree the goal is relaxing & having fun!! I do not want to overbook...but our group is all family & the kids each have a cousin their own age - so I am thinking they will not want to separate too much. We will be there 8 nights - 1 for MVMCP so I guess we will all eat together then. We also have the 3 Grand Gatherings booked - 1 breakfast - 2 dinners...should we book one meal a day together and just agree to meet up then? santa:
