Grand Gatherings Wishes cruise

How loud are the fireworks? We have two little ones who dislike fireworks in the parks due to the noise level. I'm thinking that the noise would be considerably less since the boat would be much further from the source of the fireworks than if we were watching from inside MK. Do you agree?

Much quieter than in the parks. There were alot of children on our boat and all seemed to snuggle up to their parents more out of getting comfortable than out of fright!!

This is the absolute cutest thread! Thanks for the super cute pics. This cruise sounds like a very magical experience for kids. I was leaning toward an Illuminations cruise for our next trip, now I'm leaning toward the MK fireworks cruise (Wishes). Do they do anything special like this for the illuminations cruise? My July 2007 trip is filling up fast, Cirque, Hoop de Do, and an Illuminations cruise. Why do I do this? I do it everytime, I try to jam so much into 7 days. I may need professional help.

We did this cruise in Aug 2004 and it was fantastic! The reception before the cruise was great! The music from Wishes is piped in to the speakers on the boat and we couldn't hardly hear the fireworks at all. I would highly recommend this cruise. The pirate giving the cruise made all the difference!
