Grand Gatherings Experiences...paying OOP and using DP ???

O.K. I figured it out if I use 2 TS credits for the Grand Gatherings Experiences it comes out better for me if I pay for my children OOP and use the DP for the adults. The CM I spoke to said it's pay all OOP or all DDP. I thought I read somewhere that you can pay pay half and half the way you can pay in the restaurants? If I can is there anyone that can find me where it states that. I'm sure my TA will give me a hard time about this. I need to show her the info before she'll proceed with Disney. Or I need to stop hallucinating and thinking I read something when I didn't.
