Grand Gatherings - Available to those staying on DVC points?

Are we eligible for Grand Gathering events and dining reservations if we're staying on DVC points?

I don't know many details, but I do know the answer is yes. My family is doing just that next month. We have 10 people staying in a Grand Villa on my parents' DVC points. My mother has handled all of the reservations though so I don't know any specifics. We actually decided not to do any of the special Grand Gathering events but we were sent a packet explaining it all to us.

Yes, DVC members can participate in GG events. We had 9 people (1 was an infant) in a 2 BR last April. I called MS and got a GG # (it took a few days), then called to make reservations for the one special event that we wanted to do - the Safari Celebration dinner at AK. We didn't use the GG people for our dining reservations. I just did that myself.
