Grand Gatherings and Free Dining

Details: A Grand Gathering of 8, 3 rooms total at CBR, all rooms are currently booked with 40% off the room portion of our MYW+dining packages.
Room 1: SIL & her family
Room 2: MIL (alone)
Room 3: DH, DD & I.

Free dining is not going to be a good deal for my MIL, the 40% off is definitely better for her. Will I be allowed to keep MIL booked at 40% off and change SIL & me to free dining (that is, assuming I can get free dining when it comes out)? I'm not sure how this works with a GG. Will they tell me that all rooms assigned to a GG # MUST be on the same discount/plan, or can we mix it up like I just mentioned?

You can mix it up. In each individual room, everyone has to be on the same plan.

Good question DznyDreams! I would also like to know if you can (and how it works) book free dining with GG also.
