Grand Gathering ???

What IS Grand Gatherings? I am travelling with extended family and would like to find out more information. Does a group of 12 (including children ages 3 to 9) qualify for this?

We have booked through a TA...does this matter? I would also *LOVE* to have info on where to order the Grand Gathering T-shirts!!!

A Grand Gathering is a group of at least 8 over the age of 3. We have scheduled a Grand Gathering event and are soooooo excited!!

We did a Grand Gathering last year and loved the events we did. We did the Good Morning gathering (In our opinion was the best character dinner we have ever had) and the fireworks cruise (The best way to watch the fireworks and the parade on the water).

Nini- We also used a travel agent and if anything I think it helped.

The Good Morning Gathering was lots of interactment, we almost forgot to eat! Tony comes out and does morning stretches w/ Goofy and Chipmunks and all the kids. Characters were out joking around with kids and adults the entire time. At the end they take you out in your group into another room with time for just you and Mickey for lots of photos. The fireworks cruise you go to the Contemperary docks and have snacks and drinks with Captain Hook and Mr. Scmee (lots of time!). Then you are put on your boat with some others and you pirate captain tells jokes and have a yelling contest w/ the other boat. Watch the floating parade real close and the head off to watch fireworks. Music is piped in on the boat and it was awesome!!! On the way back he asks trivia questions and tells the kids the story about Peter Pan.
Peter Pan is at the Docks when you get back for autographs and photos.

We have done a few different Character meals and this one was by far the best money spent!!! Not only that but the French Toast was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
