We are going to be a party of 20+ inNov for one of our meals. Could someone explain grand gathering to me? Does it cost more to book this way? Do I have to book it like this? Will I have a better chance of getting my ressie? ANy and all info will be helpful since I have NO idea!

Grand Gatherings has more to do with your resort reservations than dining. I've done this twice, once with a group of 16 and once with 22. There is no additional charge to book as a Grand Gathering, it just "links" all of your resort reservations together. If you are all staying at the same resort, they will try to put all of your rooms together. If you are making ADR's for a group of 20, you will need to call group dining at 407-939-7707.

Thanks so much for that number. We are not all at the same resort and this is really the only meal we are doing as a big group. Its before the Christmas Party. Does the Group dining go by the 180 day mark? I will be at that point Monday. Can I do it earlier or do I have to wait?

Yes, you can book at the 180 day mark. On our last trip with 22, we weren't all at the same resort either, but still booked as a GG so it made the ADR's a little easier. That way, when you call, they can pull up everyone in your group. It also will qualify you for any GG experiences, I highly recommend the fireworks voyage, we've done it 3 times and it's always a highlight. Good luck, I hope you have a great trip!
