The Safari one is a dinner, when we did it, it was served at the Tusker House - it may be still, I don't know, we won't be back. They take you for a private ride through the Kilimanjaro Safari, and then you have dinner with a 'host'/storyteller and character interaction. Back when we did it, it was kind of a highlights-of-Boma/Tusker House Buffet's greatest hits menu.
The Breakfast one is a plated (but still all-you-can-eat) affair held in Tony's in the Magic Kingdom. The food is standard breakfast eggs-bacon-potatoes-biscuits-fruit kind of stuff, and the event is hosted by Tony. Characters visit for photos which the last couple of times have been done table-by-table in a side room rather than the typical character meal wandering-around photos. We much prefer this one and do it often (going again in December).
