Grand Gathering Dining - Illuminations Experience Question

So my trip with just DH and the kids this June has morphed into a Grand Gathering It's amazing how popular you become when you receive a PIN code

We are looking at the Illuminations Experience Grand Gathering Event - buffet at the Odyssey, followed by a reserved location viewing of Illuminations with a dessert buffet. Does anyone know if this is offered on a regular schedule, and if so, what that schedule is? I'm trying to plan the trip so that I can make all our ADRs at the same time.

I'm wondering about the Illuminations Grand Gathering also. I've read elsewhere that there are no seats and you stand around for the dessert portion but that the view is awsome. I was also curious as to which days it's offered and also if people enjoyed it?

I highly recommend the Tony's breakfast, especially if you have children in your group. We loved it, the character interaction was wonderful. It is only one credit on the dining plan.
