Hi

ANy Brits stayed at the GF? Just been looking at the trip board and no one seems to stay there?

???? Are we going to be the only Brits ????

Kev

Hi, we've stayed there a couple of times - must say I don't remember seeing many Brits, mostly Americans. But then I never seem to see many Brits whenever I go!!! - I know they are there so perhaps they just hide from me!!;) ;) I'm sure you'll have an amazing time - Brits or no Brits!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Our first ever trip was to the GF, so it holds a special place in our memories! We also had a truly wonderful big-family-Christmas/NY there a couple of years ago. I'm sure you will have a great time!

We've stayed twice and loved it - it's my DH's fave resort... :goodvibes

We've stayed there before. It's such a beautiful resort, you will have the most wonderful time.

We have stayed there twice and it makes it difficult to stay anywhere else now!:rotfl2:

I would have to say its my favourite hotel at WDW.

We stayed there 2 years ago - in a MK view room and it was wonderful. The resort is very relaxed and not at all stuffy as I thought it might be. Last year we stayed at the Polynesian (also MK view) because the kids really liked the look of it, especially the pool, and I have to say the GF won hands down!

You will definitely come across other brits there. The Casparilla grill in the morning seemed to be the place to go.

I tend to do the Polynesian or Contempory prefer them better.

I have gone to meals there, but didnt like the hotel.

havent stayed there, but have been there loads for dinner or boat hire etc and its lovley, were staying at the poly this time but next time its where were going next!

For us the GF wins over any of the other resorts...we loved staying there and are going again in September.

We only spoke to two other British familys when we stayed in October.

We really enjoyed the hotel, so we are going back again in August. I did suggest staying at the Poly which was cheaper but DH said no:thumbsup2:

The only slightly negative points were the lobby which could be like a zoo roundabout mealtimes with people waiting for ADRs at Park Fare
Also the self parking is bit of a trek even when you cut past the service gate
so we will just valet park this time.

Might see you there in August.
