We've had tea there three times. Always very good. We always get the complete tea--scones, sandwiches and pastries. We also like the cheese plate because we make it our dinner. The children's tea is lovely, my dd 6 loves going. The trifle is delicious as are the strawberries and cream. I find you have better service if you go earlier in the day. Once we went around 5pm and they really rushed us. Tea is not meant to be rushed. Book and enjoy.

I did it in Sept '09, and would love to do it on my upcoming trip but I don't know how much my 4 year old nephew would enjoy it.

Just did it this past Dec with my DD8 (for her 8th birthday) and it was quite lovely. Next time, I will make sure to eat a while before going. It was much more filling than I thought. I got a complete tea with scones/sandwiches/strawberries & Cream etc. Loved it. My DD wasn't a huge fan but she liked it. The hot cocoa was the best I have EVER had! I thought the price was extremely reasonable too!

We did this a couple of weeks ago. It was lovely and the service was good. The pace was nice, and did not feel rushed at all. We ordered quite a few different items from the A la carte menu instead of choosing a package: scones, sally lunn bread and various pastries, and they were all delicious.

I did it in October and was very disappointed. I hadn't expected it to be as good as the teas I had done in England (and it wasn't) but my biggest disappointment was that they were out of many items. We had a late tea booked, it was our dinner before MNSSHP, and obviously, as we learned, if they run out of items, they won't make them for you.

Dh and I have been there once and we had a wonderful relaxing break from our MK day.

We each had the sandwiches and were able to custom order what we wanted from the selection

The scones were amazing and DH loved the pastries. The strawberries and cream were to die for

I would do it again in a minute...the longer the trip the easier it is to fit it in

No, it is held in the Garden View Lounge. If you picture yourself entering the hotel from the monorail, it is straight ahead at the opposite side of that room. And I believe you must go downstairs one level from the monorail.

I was there on Mon it was as wonderful as always, had tea sandwiches, scones, tarts and two pasteries along with my pot of vanilla roobios tea.

Did this for the first time last March with both of my DDs and my MIL and we all really enjoyed ourselves there, MIL and I each had a different type of tea, scones with jelly, sandwiches, and pastries for dessert while DDs both had the Mrs. Potts tea. We had the earliest seating (2pm) which made for a really nice break from MK (DH and FIL went off and had lunch by themselves). My DDs and I are going to be doing this again on our May trip (on Mother's Day) and we cannot wait. We have another 2pm seating which will be good, just hope DH has something planned for himself to do since he is not invited

What is the Children's Tea like? Is it separate children's menu, or any special little trinkets, or a combination??

Went here with my DD who was 6 at the time. We both loved it. Great atmosphere and she loved the "real" tea feeling with real china and tea pots. Her tea pot was filled with chocolate milk She tried the tuna sandwich but didn't really like it so the waitress was kind enough to change it to plain peanut butter for her. I had all different little sandwiches which were all great. It is extremely girly and a wonderful mother / daughter thing to do.

My DD8 had the Mrs. Potts Tea. It was a real tea pot filled with the most incredible hot chocolate. She wasn't a huge fan of the sandwiches but asked for a to-go box for her dad. SHe enjoyed the pastries and desserts though.

I have done the tea with my adult DD three times and it is WONDERFUL. What a lovely way to spend quality time with your princess, and not at all expensive.

We do it all the time. Service and food have always been wonderful. Never rushed and never had any food run out and we've had reservations at all times of the day. Maybe it depends on how busy they were that day for running out of certain items. Not that that should matter. Hope you go and enjoy it!
