Grand Floridian tea - big oops!

Hi all,

We arrive next Monday to stay at Grand Floridian villas and my friend JUST informed me she would like to do the tea ! I looked on WDW site and can't seem to get a reservation at all. Does anyone know if it's possible to just show up or go through the hotel concierge to try to make a reservation? Looking for the tea that runs daily from 2-5 pm in the Garden View room. All suggestions appreciated!

Were you able to get a reservation? The site is quirky regarding ADRs for the
afternoon tea. I am having trouble with my May dates. I've read that it's best
to call WDW to arrange an ADR....guess I will be doing that.

Today I tried to book a reservation for the tea at exactly 180 days, but the on-line system was only showing open days into the first part of June. I eventually had to call and was able to book the tea, for four, at the exact time I wanted without any difficulty.

The new Billion dollar system is so filled with bugs!

I do not want to call and wait for 28 minutes on a Saturday morning listening to a horrible recording of Disney music that "fuzzes out" every thirty seconds for the honor of asking someone else to book a reservation for me.

Grrrr......

So, in short, When (not if) the system is being a pain, call up a human.
