Hey there,

I was wondering how what sort of treatments are available at the GF Spa? The DVD I have cites them as rivalled by only a few other hotels in the world - I was wondering just how many of us have used them and whether they really are that wonderful, as if they are, I need to work them into my budget!:teacher:

I had a manicure and pedicure at the GF two days before my wedding. I have to be completely honest here and say I was not impressed with their services for the price! I went with several people of my group and was seated in their private room which was nice (although I kind of wish I would have been seated with the rest of my group so i could chat with everyone!), but was given a technician who had been working for two days. She was very very nice but for the 75$ for both, I guess I expected a better job! My nails looked good but they were definitely not worth that price!!

Sorry I dont have any experience with any other types of treatments but I am sure someone else here will :)

My husband and I had the 80 minute couple's massage on our honeymoon last month. While it was very nice, it was also very expensive!! At $375 (not including tip) :scared1:

One more thing to note: the spa, sauna and steam room are not co-ed. They are located in gender-specific locker rooms. After the massage I would have liked to enjoy these with my new husband as well. I think I read somewhere that the spa at the Dolphin has this option available.

As for the GF, the facility was lovely, but the services were on par with any of my local spas.....though much more expensive. My advice, if you have extra money and time, go for it. But it's not worth sacrificing something else you might like. For example, save the money on the massage and have dinner at Victoria and Albert's. :thumbsup2

Just my 2 cents.

Enjoy your trip.

Wow! Pretty expensive if the treatments weren't out of this world! I've got many more things I'd rather spend my money on, I think! I'm just a little worried who I could have to do my hair and make-up on the day, as I'm coming from the UK. I've heard mixed reviews on two different cosmetologists, so am not sure what to do.
