Does anybody know the details on this? More specifically, can you just add the session if you've prepaid for the Photopass CD before your trip or is there an additional cost? I would think there would be an additional cost to make it worth their while, but I've seen posters on others sources assume otherwise. Anybody know for sure?

I'd like more information on this as well.

I guess nobody's had any experience with this yet. Maybe I'll call next week and find out.:wizard:

Great question, I'd like to know too. I also pre-paid for my CD then saw that this had been released, it would seem fair to get it with quoting your pre-pay reference but who knows? (fingers crossed)

I'd love to find out about this as well! I just read about it in a newsletter and am planning to do my kids Christmas cards while in WDW.. this sounds great for that!

I can't find any info about this. Can you enlighten me please.

According to Allears, they are now offering a photo session at GF. You book in advance and have your photo taken at various GF locations. The wording is that it costs $49.95 or included in a photopass cost of $125. Those of us who have already pre-paid for our photopass at the reduced price of $99 want to know if we can have this sitting done or have to pay the $49.95 separately. :confused3

It sounds like a lovely idea but the question is do we really want to lose part of our holiday for group photos?

I just made my reservation :goodvibes

The lady I just spoke with was by herself so it was rather rushed but here's what the information I got:
20min session with 40-50 pictures taken depending on the photographer from all areas around the Grand Flordian

They ask you to where solid clothing/similar shade and check-in is at the Main Building, 2nd floor, by the monorail.

They make reservations on the hour starting at 9am (we made ours for 12p due to a breakfast at Cape May Cafe) but not sure what time they stop (1pm was the last time I was given... not sure if that meant they were booked)

49.95 for just the pictures on the photopass itself, $124.95 for the CD with all pictures and park pictures. She made it seem that you "have" to get the CD while in the park (told me something about 7 days) to actually have the pictures uploaded. I'm not at all familiar with the Photopass system (or pre-ordering CDs) so if preordering means you get the CD while in the parks... I would "assume" this is possible? The number I used was: 407-824-1700 if you would like to speak to someone directly

I have no idea what could happen if it was raining (probably should have checked into that lol) but it was very easy to make the reservation and they just required some simple personal information. I wasn't planning on booking a time slot... but I love the idea of this! We were planning on using photopass this trip anyways... so it's an added bonus.

Hopefully we'll get first hand accounts on this... but for right now... I'm looking forward to this!

Lisa, have you got a URL on that for us? Would be very appreciated. :)

I called today also and spoke to a wonderfully nice and well-informed CM. She told me basically the same thing... if you do not get the CD, you pay $50 and then addt'l money for the pictures. If you get the CD, you could have the pictures downloaded onto the CD and you do not have to pay the $50 for the photo session.

I asked about prepaying for the CD for $99 and she said it is absolutely fine to do it that way. Just inform the photographer and the 40-50 pictures will be downloaded and added to the existing park pics. We could have them printed anywhere... there are no copyright problems as with some photographers. I am psyched!! I was planning on prepaying for the CD anyway and this is just a great big bonus!

Sounds cool.....I'm going to look into it. And the photocd/photo pass thing.

I got called twice and got different stories...the first said there would be a $50 sitting fee plus the photopass purchase, but that's not what we've been reading. So, I called again and she said the whole deal would just be $124 or the price of the photo pass. I booked it for Sept. and I took a 9AM slot.

I just called and the CM was very friendly and helpful. What I was told is you have two options....$50 sitting fee then purchase your pictures there OR $125 for the photopass with all the portait session photo and all park photos. She did say if you decided later on, you could "upgrade" but you had to come back to their office in the GF.

I'd still like to know about prebuying the cd.

Forgot to add....she said they were only booking 30 days in advance. But she did say that it may change, once they get everything set up. She suggested to call back at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov for my end of Dec trip.
