Francie, I had Becky for our January trip. I also started out with someone who was a bit on the cold side, but then I got help from another dis'er and I ended up working with Becky. She was terrific.

A good pre-planner is going to make you feel better and get your vacation off to a great start. I'm working with Annalisa over at the Yacht Club right now and she's probably the best that I've ever talked to. She's right there making suggestions and assurances. I even got a big envelope from her with park maps, resort information, recreation stuff. That was not a standard service that I got from the GF, so if you're interested in receiving that info ahead of time, just mention it to your IP. I've already sent along a letter to Guest Communications at Disney complimenting Annalisa.

thanks for the info, tammi. right now as far as pre-planning, my main concern is getting my room requests. my dinner plans, etc. are pretty much set. were they able to help get the room you requested?

When we travelled with the kids, they met every request that I made. We were on the 4th floor (same as the lounge) and had a magic kingdom view. When DH and I go alone, I usually just ask for a king size bed. The first time, they didn't have one available, but that didn't matter at all because we had been upgraded from the Sugar Loaf lodge concierge. When we stayed there in January, they upgraded us to a tower honeymoon suite. That was incredible.

I'd just suggest that you list your requests by priorities and I know that they'll try to meet them.
