Grand floridian - help for 2013

I am trying to book 3 two bedroom suites for Easter 2013 - preferably the Grand Suite and two others for 10 days.
I am advised there is only 1 two bed suite and 1 bedroom suites left - Is there a reason for this??? Do they only release inventory later?? or is it because of the new build. Would anyone know?

I then tried to book the contempory for the presidencial suite and was told neither that or the 2 bed suites are available? only the hospitality suites.... this is 15 months out? Do they hold all the best rooms for VIP's.... or am I just too late? I am relying on some very good disney Travle agents but even they seems suprised Can anyone help me?

Also has anyone any idea how the GF is going to be affected by the new build. Is the beach the same from the photos it looks like some of the beach is lost? Is that true?

I am getting a little frustrated because no disney property has the best catagory of room available and I don't know why are they really that busy or is there a trick I don't know?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are being told the rooms are not "left" as you stated, I would assume they are already booked. It is possible to book that far out on a room-only reservation, and since there are very few of them, it's possible they are already booked. Easter is one of the busiest times at Disney, and if I was planning a big trip over a holiday for a limited availability type room, I'm sure I would have booked it already.

Also you are looking for a long reservation - 10 days. If those rooms are already booked for ANY of those 10 days, it will show as not available.

As for the other options - held back for VIPs, etc. - there's really no way to know. All that really matters is that they are not able to book them for you.

I don't think there's any way to know now what will be going on construction-wise in a year with the GF DVCs.
