Grand Floridian concierge using points?

Does anyone know if you book a Grand Floridian Concierge room using points if it is Sugar Loaf or RPC? Appreciate any insight - thanks!

You are in RPC in the main building. It was GREAT staying in the main building, but RPC is one of the WORST concierges on property. If you really want a concierge stay on points, pick another hotel.

Thanks for the reply Lori. Can you tell me why you don't like RPC? Also, I'm interested in your opinion because I noticed that you've stayed in a few. Which do you recommend?

We have stayed in concierge at the GF, YC and Poly. We spent 2 weeks at the RPC in May, and I must say that I agree that it is the pits. Service was really bad. There was one great CM at the RPC, but the rest were awful (unhelpful, unfriendly,etc.). I posted a trip report on the Resorts Board back in May that goes into detail. Also, the food offerings were bad compared to the YC and especially the Poly. We never plan to make a meal out of the lounge food (except at breakfast), but the offerings were meager.

I would use the points elsewhere.

I also agree with MJS about the RPC. I also posted a detailed post on the resorts board, but with the search down, that really isn't much help. I really don't want to post all the details here, but just say it wasn't the most friendliest atmosphere. It seemed to me, that if you aren't a VIP, the staff at the GF doesn't have time for you. I always felt that I was a second class citizen there, and for the amount of money/points you're paying, you defintely deserve more respect than that. There was one GREAT CM at the RPC, and if I remember MJS's postings, we encountered the same GREAT CM. I've stayed at the Poly and it was FAR superior to the GF. I'm trying the AKL concierge next month and am really looking forward to it, since I've read such GREAT reviews of it.
