The dinner menu looks lovely and I don't read too much about this restaurant on this message board.

We are a group of 18 with 8 kids. Would we be welcome there? ;)

Is the food as good as it sounds?

I ate here for the first time just a couple of weeks ago and it has made it's way onto my 'favorite Disney restaurants' list! I had the pork chop and my mom had the salmon, both were wonderful.

We saw a couple of large groups there while we were dining, and plenty of people were dressed in park clothes. It's not 'stuffy' at all. I don't think you'd have any problems there with your group :thumbsup2

With a large group you want to get your reservation for the first 15-20 minutes after opening, and actually get there before openiing. At that time they can temporarily move tables to put the group together, or at worst give you adjoining tables.

I have eaten their twice and the food has always been very good. The service is excellent as well. I did not feel unwelcome buy any means. I saw number of groups there. I usally go for breakfast or lunch. You will like this I believe but be sure and arrive a little early due to the group size. Must make an ADR due to uour group size as well. I travel solo but always make an ADR that way I have no surprise when I arrive to be seated. I have an ADR this coming trip again.

We ate there in December. I believe all the adults had the ribeye steak and they were very good. The dessert sampler was delicious. The only thing that was complained about was the kids meal french fries. My kids love french fries and they wouldn't touch them. They loved the fries that came with the steaks (I believe they were parmasean fries.)

The service was just OK. We needed to get to MVMCP and told our waiter that. We ordered everything including dessert when he took our drink order and we made it out of there a good 45 minutes late. I'm not sure what the hold up was (kitchen or waiter) but we wanted to be there around the start at 7pm and didn't get there until close to 8pm (our ressie was at 520pm). That should have been more than enough time to get us to MK by 7pm but not that day.

However, because the food was good, I would eat there again.
