Grand Floridian Ballroom

I'm currently in the researching stages for a Disney Wedding. I'm thinking ceremony at Sea Breeze point and reception in the Grand Floridian Ballroom?
How many ballrooms are there in GF? Does anyone have any pictures besides what's on the Disney site? I'm also planning an upcoming trip to Disney this summer, is it possible to contact someone to tour these places? Do they do that?

They have a bunch of ballrooms in the GF convention center. They all pretty much look the same except for Whitehall, which I have some not-so-great pictures of...

Hi sabalpalms

sorry to crash your thread, only i am staying at my dvc resort in sept/oct 08 and my df and i are hoping to be able to have a look at the wedding venue.

my df thinks we would be able just to speak to guest services when we arrive and get them to schedule an appointment. Do you know if they would be able to arrange a visit quite quickly or is it really best to phone them and book a day/time in advance?

The Whitehall room that lurkyloo posted is often used for smaller receptions. They also often use the Whitehall room for the cocktail hour, and then have the reception in the ballroom.

I'm having my ceremony at the pavilion, then cocktail in Whitehall room, whitehall room's patio, and part of a ballroom. Then reception will be in the ballroom.

I just wanted to point out, in case you didn't already know, that there are ballrooms at the Boardwalk resort too. Seeing as you're getting married at Seabreeze Point, you could look into that.
