Grand Caymen hotels ?

Has anyone used the facilities at any of the hotels on Seven Mile Beach ? Can you use their pool? I wouldn't mind paying a fee if need be. What hotel would you suggest ? We've been to G C before and have shopped, been to Hell and the Turtle Farm and don't care to swim with the sting rays. Seven Mile Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, IMHO, and I'd hate to spend my day on the ship.

I would also be interested in this. I would love to use a hotel's facility and even pay a day rate if there was such a thing.

We went to the area of Seven Mile Beach at the Holiday Inn on Grand Cayman. It was beautiful. There was a bar/restaurant and ample chairs, etc. The restaurant was rather expensive. We grabbed two burgers, chips and drinks and it came to $37 US. (Ouch!)

The actual hotel is across the road. We didn't cross and/or see or want to use their pool. The ocean was perfect in June. You might want to inquire via a website or maybe someone else on here has had this experience.

The cab ride back to the ship was something like $3-4 per person. I hope this was helpful.
