Need help. Heading on a cruise on 10/21 that was suppose to go to the Eastern Caribbean but I highly doubt we will go there now, so I'm looking at western port adventures to change to when and if we get switched.
I know for sure I want to stick with booking with Disney as everything is always up in the air and I don't want to hassle of cancelling or changing things on my own.
I also know I want to do Stingray city, but I can't decided which one. These are the 3 I narrowed them down too.
Deluxe Stingray City Sandbar Snorkel (G39)
Adventure To The Stingray City Sandbar (G08) OR
Stingray City Reef Sail & Snorkel (G09)
I know the Stingray reef sail and snorkel goes to the original site, which sounds better as it might not be so over crowed (???) and I like the idea of seeing animals in there natural environment. But I can't tell the difference in the other two and which will be better out of the 3 of them??
It will be me, my DH, and DD (9) on the trip. We are all great snorkelers, and I know my DD would love to see turtles and other sea creatures as well??? Do you see more things on the reef sail and snorkel??
Thanks for all the help!

We did G09 in Dec. We were the only dive boat out there. apparently at the sandbar, there are gobs of stingrays, we had about 10 fully mature rays with us [they were big!]. The water was deep, 10+ feet, and impossibly clear. Coral, fish were in abundance and the large reef was close by that many of us explored. The write up implies about 45 minutes in the water, but we were out there for about 2 hours. Hooked the entire family on snorkeling. Truly amazing. Highly recommend G09 for a wonderful snorkeling experience withe the stingrays

The kids were 11, 9 & 9 when we did this

G39 goes to the sandbar. You'll be in between three and 4 feet of water with what will seem like hundreds of stingrays all around. They do have masks that you can wear if you want to look under the water. One of the things we really liked about the boat was the way you enter the water. There's essentially a drop down staircase and the bottom of it sits almost on the seafloor. This made it very easy for people of all ages and mobility to get on and off the boat. The guides were friendly and informative, and had some squid with them so everyone had a chance to feed the Rays.

I would also look at their start times. We are going on (G08) because it departs right after we dock. We will get back mid day and still have time to do other things in port if we want. The others start mid day or later and we didn't want to kill a morning waiting around for our excursion to get started. Just saying.
