Grand Cayman excursion question!

Our family is interested in doing Captain Byron's Sting Ray City excursion. This is not a Disney sponsored excursion. We need to be at Captain Byrons by 9:00 am for a 9:30 departure. Per Disney tenders start at 7:30.

The questions we have are does Disney let their excursions depart first? If Disney lets their excursions go first will we have enough time to get to Captain Byrons by 9:00?

Disney excursions are prioritized, but they will also put you in an early group if you have an early non-DCL excursion. They will tell you where to go (it was the big theater for us).

We ran into trouble getting to our catamaran sail at 10 am bc Customs took forever to clear the ship the day we were in port. It was the 1st day of high season, and they had something like 8 ships in port. It was also at the high point of the virus business, so I think they were being extra careful with all the ships. We did not get off the ship until 9:30, but luckily since everyone was running late, they waited for us.

DVCBob- we used Native Way Water Sports in GC. They picked us up at the dock, so no walking or looking for someplace. this was great for those on later tenders

You'll be fine. Its only a few minute walk to the office, many people on this board, including us have make it to the morning trip on
Captain Bryans Stingray city tours . Just get on the earliest possible. They will let you on even if you don't have a disney excursions booked, they just say the earliest tenders are for disney excursions but will still let you on even if you are booked for independent trips
