Grand Cayman - Capt Marvin or Catarmaran

Hi,
Just a few more days now! Anybody done the snorkeling at Stingray City tour with Capt Marvin or the other one on the catamaran (Capt Bruce?). Any feedback would be appreciated.

My suggestion is to do Captain Marvins if you want a less crowded, more one on one encounter! We did Stingray City with them on our cruise (with RCCL) a couple years ago and it was amazing! I booked it on line as it was about half the cost ($25pp I believe) of booking the ship's tour to Stingray City. They picked us up at the dock and transported us back to the dock after the trip. We only had about 10 people total on the boat and the guides were really helpful with getting gear on, getting everyone into the water and showing everyone how to feed/hold the stingrays. Another bonus, was that we were one of the first few boats out to the sandbar so it really was not that crowded and we saw a lot of stingrays!

My opinion, is that for the price and the level of service provided by Captain Marvin's you can't go wrong!

We went with Capt. Bryan's in 2003 and really enjoyed it. It was one of the best excursions we have done yet. I highly recommend them.

I would do Capt Marvins. I t was great. They are very nice and you can even walk to the pick up point from the dock. They are very helpful and book online

We really loved Captain Bryans Catamaran I'm assuming its the one you meant.

There was so much room, the crew was excellent and the sail back was the icing on the cake

We all loved it, the kids, and the grandparents and us too!

Just did Captain Marvins last week and had a great time. The guides were great and we were the first ones on the sandbar. There were 12 in our boat but only 10 went in the water (plus the guides). We got to feed the stingrays and I even held one. Afterwards, they took us to a neat spot and we did some snorkeling. On the way back we waved at all of the overcrowded boats just heading out. I highly recommend Captain Marvins!!!
