Grand Cayman beach on your own

We haven’t been to Grand Cayman since before COVID. Before, we paid for umbrella’s and chairs at a beach club and did everything on our own.

It’s looks likes there aren’t many beach clubs anymore. Any suggestions? Anyone buy a day pass at the Westin?

We walked for about 15 minutes along the beach to get to the part which had easier access into the ocean without coral and there were plenty of sun beds, parasols etc to hire. Not that expensive either. You then got drinks service and free wifi.

Thank you. Did you walk to the beach from the tender area or did you take a cab/shuttle?

I’m sad to say that I’m afraid I can’t honestly remember what we did. It was only earlier this year, but it’s a dim and distant blur lol!
