Grand Canyon White Water Rafting trip??

Has anyone gone on a Grand Canyon white water raft trip? I'm thinking about 1-day trip from Las Vegas, in early June. Tours rank from $399 to $650. I have no idea which one to pick (and why there is such a big difference). And it's quite expensive... but DH wanna do it.

Anyone has done it before?

I always wanted to do it. It's on the to-do list. I checked on it a few years ago prior to going to Las Vegas and they were booked up! (Something like a year out!) Hopefully you will have better luck!

Oh man! That has been a dream of mine forever. I always wanted to do like a week long trek down the Colorado, through the Canyon. If you decide to go, please come back and tell us all about it!

I've been rafting but not down the Grand Canyon. I think even the less expensive trip would be fabulous!
