I am wondering if there are any benefits to staying other than proximity? We stayed feb 2020 last and it made the world of difference. Price for 8 of us are cheaper at grand vs dlh ( no view). thanks

I kind of depends on when your trip is. Proximity is probably the biggest benefit, (which is HUGE for me) but they are (very) slowly bringing the extras back, and this summer will return the EMH for the on-site hotels. (No one knows if it will be the full hour like before, I kind of think it won’t be, but I guess something is better than nothing.) There may be other benefits when magic bands come to DLR this year, but if course no one knows what/when for that either...

I’m not sure the EMH will be happening at that time, all they’ve said is that it will be returning later this summer, of course with no specific timeframe

If Disney goes by when "summer season" actually begins on the calendar, it wouldn't be until June 21st, since that is the official 1st day of summer. I would like to think early entry will return when summer is in full swing.
