I waitlisted a Saturday night in February, at the front end of our confirmed six night trip. My questions are these:

1. What are the chances of my waitlist coming through for a studio at VGC, for a Saturday night in February?

2. Will I likely be able to combine that night with my other 6, so I don't have to change rooms?

First time wait listing, so not sure what to expect. Thanks!!

I'd say the single-night waitlist has a good chance of filling. And yes, once it fills, it will be merged with the other 6 nights provided all nights are the same unit type (studio) and names.

We have a 2-night waitlist in February for the 17th-19th. I have it listed as both a studio AND a 1-bedroom. I did this right at the 7-month mark when the rooms got booked up right at 8 AM. I've been waiting patiently as well. People say we have a good chance, but IDK. I actually was monitoring the website as well, and the 15th popped up. I booked it even though that isn't really the night we want.

I am finding the VGC extremely frustrating. At WDW you have your choice of multiple resorts, so even if you didn't get your first choice, usually you can get SOMETHING - either through a waitlist or patient searching. VGC there is no "lesser" option, either the WL comes through or it doesn't.

Great! Just the news I was hoping for!

Well, I actually booked at 11 months by renting from a member, prior to recently becoming members ourselves. I just decided to add an extra day, and I was kind of surprised to see it was fully booked. I'll cross my fingers for the waitlist to come through. If not, I guess I'll be staying somewhere for one night and then moving, as I already changed our flights :D:D:D

I actually had 3 reservations combined. I had a 5 night stay waitlisted about 2 months ahead for mid November 2013 (had to change dates because of work).

Nights 4 & 5 became available on the website, so I booked it and changed the wait list to nights 1 to 3. Then 2 & 3 became available, I booked it and changed the waitlist to just night 1. Night 1 came through on the waitlist at 28 days. Member Services automatically combined the 3 reservations when they confirmed the waitlist for night 1. I was really happy because I had it booked as cash with an AP discount at a rate of almost $300 per night (BWV studio).

I had a 1 night WL for VGC fill last month after a few months of waiting. Of course mine was for a Monday, so that's probably easier to pick up than a Saturday. Good luck!

My entire four night stay in a VGC studio just came through from the waitlist for an early January trip (Friday - Monday nights). I thankfully only had a to wait a month.

Lucky you. I've been waiting over a month and nothing.
