Which area do we request of the Disney Grand Californian Hotel
(Section names?) to be closest to the entrance to Disneyland Park entance?

Thanks

:)

Well, I usually just ask for a room closest to the lobby elevators. The only way to go both in and out that is closest to the DL entrance is through the lobby.

However, I have never gotten what I've requested on the first try. I always get there and find I'm way off in no-man's land and it's a fight to try and get them to relocate me. Just wanted you to know that requests don't seem to hold a lot of weight at GCH in my experience.

There are a set of elevators over by NR, that would be my suggestion to room placement, but at the same time I have never used them. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, that's right. We just stayed in a room right next to them and it was awesome!! But while that is definitely a fast way to get to DCA, it isn't as quick for DL as being near the lobby elevators. Since the OP said they were looking for the closest to DL and weren't too interested in DCA I thought the lobby elevators would be the best bet.

You are correct. This is the area we use to stay in before VGC. It was an easy trip in and out of nearly anywhere. While it wouldn't work necessarily during construction, we use to use our park hoppers to enter CA and pass through just to get into DL.

You are totally correct. Just wanted to point out there are another set that people either do not know about or forget about them.
