Well I am soooooooo excited to stay in a room overlooking DTD. :cheer2: Have any of you stayed in one, and remember the room number or area? Was it a good view? I figured that I could request one ahead of time, or when we check in? We are arriving this Friday for 2 nights.

Thankyou!:tinker:

We stayed in one in 2006. Fifth floor, but I don't remember the room number. You can take the stairs down and out and it dumps you right by La Brea Bakery. You can out this way, but not in.
It was great! We were pretty close to being above the Disney store. It was great to wear the cushy robe and stand on the balcony and watch people and at night hear the music and see all the twinkly lights.
The previous trip we had the park view which was amazing..right by the Bear and it was so fun watching them prepare the park for the day.
I'm being too cheap to spring for a good view when take a big group in May, so will be interesting to see what we can see without paying extra :)
Have fun!
(ps..if you don't get housekeeping call and make them come and do it..I wish I would have when they skipped me for two days)

We have stayed at The Grand four times with completely different views each time. Our absolutely favorite room of all three hotels is the DTD view at DGC. We were in room 3165 right above the *********** store. It was Sept and warm and it was wonderful to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine, people watch, listen to the live music (DH calls him Yo-Yo Ma:rolleyes1 ) and just enjoy! Mousekeeping was great, sorry they skipped you nunzia.:confused3 . I would think most DTD view rooms would be awesome, have a great trip.:)

Ooh! Thanks!! That is just what I was hoping for!!! To sit on the balcony with a nice cup of coffee, or a glass of wine, while just watching the scene below. We got the AP5 rate for it, but it still was pretty pricey. I can't wait!! :woohoo: It is also Super Bowl Sunday the day we leave. The ESPN Zone is going to be a zoo that day. I bet all the men willl be there, and the families in the parks. My man is staying with me. This is the first time to be at DL just the 2 of us. :cloud9:

PS- Thought you'd like to know that I will be coming to the Ladies Only trip too. It will be fun meeting you and your DD! :grouphug:
