We are booked for a 1 bedroom villa at GCV for our first trip to DL in April (week before Easter).

Should I put in a room request for a park view? Is there a good floor to request?

I would request World of Color view, top floor. Here's the view I had from 6504, which was a studio that connected to a 1 bedroom (6502?).

High floor, park view is what I put in (though we go for 2 bedrooms). You can be facing the pool, Paradise Pier, or there's one set of rooms at the end that face the Grizzly Peak. Personally I like the Pier or Grizzly which are both park view. But it is such a tiny resort (only 1 wing) that is booked pretty solidly so getting what you want is more luck than anything else. We got pool view the first year with no requests (1 bedroom), then the last 2 years we got the Pier view, once on the 4th floor which was stunning and this year on the 2nd floor which was still nice for the blinking ferris wheel but could only see the top of WOC fountains. If you go to the VGC Owner's and Lover's thread a lot of people have posted views from various rooms. :goodvibes

Thanks!! I guess I don't really care what my view is, but the park view seems pretty cool!
