Grand California early arrival-pool use?

Hi everyone,
I haven't stay at the Grand California for over a decade. We're arriving around 1030am tomorrow. Can we do check in and then have access to the pool? Is there a place to change into swimwear that isn't our room? Is there bar service and/or a place to grab lunch to eat poolside?

Once you check in, you have access to the amenities, even if you don't have access to the room.

I don't recall there being a place by the pool to change, other than the restrooms that are along the hall between GCH and the DVC portion of the building, kind of near Pinocchio's workshop area. Basically, the accessible stall would be the biggest to change.

There is Craftsman's Grill, which is what they re-did Whitewater Snacks into.

Yes, you may use the pool before your room is ready.
There are restrooms with shower/changing within the pool area (near the redwood slide) -- not the restrooms next to Craftsman Grill.
There is food and bar service in the pool area, and also the Craftsman Bar.
