Grand Calif or Disneyland Hotel

we are five ladies going on a week long trip to disneyland. Would you stay in a 2 bedroom suite at teh disneyland hotel or 2 seperate rooms at the grand california..please give me pros and cons..I stayed at the Grand back in 2008 and enjoyed out stay. is the disneyland hotel nicer since the renvoations.

The DLH is very nice since the remodel. Does the suite have a living area? That would be good.

The DLH has a really fun-looking tiki bar and you can sit outside on the deck. I think that would be awesome for a girls' weekend!

If there are no kids, I would stay at GC because it's sooooooo close to get into the parks. It has a really nice luxury feel to it too. And you can't beat having a private entrance into CA Adventure!

Is at least one of you OK with sharing a bed? That will almost certainly be the situation with 5 people/2 rooms at the Grand Californian. They don't offer rollaways; just sleeping bags. There are a very limited number of rooms that have sleeping for 5 adults without use of a sleeping bag (as in 2 in each bed and a 5th bench or something?)..but those rooms tend to be held for people who have 5 adults staying in the same room.

(Not saying don't stay at the GCH, but if none of you can share a bed, that makes the answer pretty easy.)

I personally think that the DLH is much more nicer and elegant since the remodel, especially the lobby and the new pool area they are absolutely beautiful!! But if you ladies are looking for more of a different atmosphere and decor then the GHC is good to. I just like the DLH personally but they are both in walking distance to DD which is good to.
