Grand Cal. Owners Annual Dues - when?

Just curious if we are the only GVC members who have not been charged for annual dues yet? If they opened in Sept shouldnt they have started in Oct? Just hoping to not get this huge bill for past months....

Any insight?

Perhaps like me, your first set of points comes in 2010?

Pro-rated dues begin on the later of: your purchase date, the start of your initial Use Year and the occupancy date of the Unit you purchased.

I called accounting and asked that exact question since I was also wondering why I hadn't yet been charged.
They said I would be billed in January for the months I owed in 2009 (Oct thru Dec).
I opted to pay with my CC right then, so I wouldn't be surprised in January. In January my 2010 GCV dues will just be rolled into my auto payment.

So, since my use year is March and I have yet to get points (except for borrowing all of 2010 and then some ), does this means my MF don't start adding up until March 2010? I thought there was something about the DP that would requre MF?
I checked my account and nothing is showing as yet.

I spoke with member accounting last week. They indicated that maintenance dues will come out Jan 15, 2010 for 2009 along with your Jan dues. Yuck, double payment in Jan!

That's why I paid them on-line last month...I didn't want the double whammy in Jan after X-mas.

Yes, your dues will be prorated beginning March. Don't hold me to it but they probably will be due by April 15th. Maybe March 15th. Developer points to not have MF's.

MF's are calculated either from the date your unit is available for occupancy, the date of purchase or the beginning of your UY (ie, when you get your first points)- whichever is later.
