Hi everyone

Just wondering if anyone has reviews or pics of the wishes cruise on the Grand1 Yacht.

Im thinking about booking this for a really really special birthday and there will be twelve of us. We would like to catch the yacht at the gf and then afterwards go to dinner at narcoosees - is it worth the money?

Any help/advice/pics is/are greatly appreciated. :thumbsup2

I've taken the Grand One out three times. The cost is now $400/hr with a two hour minimum. (unless something has changed) It's customary to split a 20% tip between the captain and first mate, and no food/beverage is included in the base price.

You can get dinner catered onboard if you'd like.

I've got a bunch of photo's, and other info, do a search for "grand one" under my user name and you'll find them.

Have fun!

That was a previous model. That whole seating area on the bridge doesn't exist on the new model. You can go around to the front of the boat and sit on the top of the cabin area if you want, it will support people and is meant for sunning.

Im not too fussed about the outside seating area but is there enough room for 12 of us to stand and watch the fireworks?

If you look under the GF FAQ thread under the resorts board, Janet2K just got back and has pics of her private dining and her Grand 1 expirence.

Thanks so much for the link, Wow that is just beautiful, maybe some day. I will miss you on the 21st. but will be thinking of you! :goodvibes

 I just booked a Wishes Cruise on the Grand 1 a few days before Christmas!!!

I would have gone for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but there is a 2-hour minimum on holidays. (and I'm barely getting away with 1 hour!) I'm so happy! Now I have to figure out what I want to have onboard from Private Dining. Maybe some hot chocolate for the kids and some champagne for us!

So is there now just a 1 hour minimum? I wanted to book this for our next trip but just couldn't swallow the 2 hour min for just the 3 of us to go.

Yes, it's a 1 hour minimum unless it's a holiday. They scheduled my cruise from 8:30 - 9:30 to include Wishes at 9pm. You can be picked up at any of the MK resort marinas, and you can be dropped off at any of them as well, including the dock at the MK. FYI: If you schedule a cruise on a MNSSHP or MVMCP night, you will see the fireworks from Bay Lake, not Seven Seas Lagoon, because of the perimiter fireworks. We are doing the regular Wishes cruise because I want to be front and center!
