I am looking for some advice from you great people!

We are 2 adults who are going to be visiting Walt Disney World for the week over Labor Day. We are trying to decide if we should do seven nights at the Coronado Tower standard room, or do four nights there and three nights at the Dolphin. The price is the same. (We figureed in the resort fee and uber to airport in the Dolphin per night cost) The reason we were considering the Dolphin is its proximity to food and wine as well as the opening of Galaxy Edge. We just can’t decide if it is worth the effort to switch hotels to be able to walk to Epcot and Studios. We are thinking busses could be a long wait with all that is happening.

What would you do?

I was considering the same options for our family trip in December and I picked the Swan (it was a little cheaper than Dolphin) because we love being in that area and walking to the parks. We’ve stayed at both hotels many times and while the new rooms at Coronado look nice, I still find it hard to pay that much for a resort you rely on the buses for everything. Also keep your eye on the rates, I’ve been able to rebook several times to shave more $ off the room.

What would you do?

If you are planning multiple trips to WS and HS, definitely do the split. My guess is that this will be your first Epcot Area Resort stay? The locations are unbeatable. You also have any of the EP area resort restaurants just steps away, if you'd like.

Plus, Kimonos.
And, the POOLS!
And, FUEL's sandwiches.
And, The FOUNTAIN.
Ample Hills is at your back door!
(I like to eat if you couldn't tell.)

Do it for sure! Split stays are awesome. Make sure to schedule your Epcot and Hollywood Studios days around the days you'll be at the Dolphin. You'll definitely want that close proximity for when Star Wars opens and you don't have to rely on transportation to get there with all the crowds.

I would do the split! Walking to the two theme parks will be nice and convenient. Plus the Swan/Dolphin have awesome beds! So comfortable! And the dining is also great!

Typically, I'd say stay the whole time at Coronado, you won't be disappointed BUT you bring up a great point about the buses.

So, for your wants and needs for this trip, I'd do the split stay BUT I'd do Dolphin/Swan 1st and close out at the Gran Destino if your schedule allows.

Yes I would always choose to be on the Boardwalk vs. not. I'm guessing your just curious to try out the tower. Perhaps focus on the other 2 parks those days. You will Love the ease and options of getting around at Dolphin, and it lights up beautifully at night.
