graduation :)

I (finally!) had my high school graduation ceremony last night!!!

Alot of school in my schoolboard have their graduation ceremonies in October...I don't really know why, but that's just the way it goes.

It was great though, because everyone who is away at University came back!!
It was SOOOO awesome to see all my old teachers again and all my friends!

So I'm officially graduated from high school now!
I got my academic letter (which means i got honours in 6 of 8 of my semesters there) i'm an ontario scholar (i'm not entirely sure what that is...hehe, but it sounds fancy) I got the Canadian Progress Award in Dramatic Arts AND I got the Ethel O. Scott scholarship, which was a $300 scholarship for a student who excels in both english & french
I am VERY proud of myself!

My boyfriend got the Bansi Lal Scholarship, which was a $100 scholarship for excellence in athletics.

After the ceremony my friends & I went out to a bar & grill for a parrrrty.
It was SO much fun!!! (I'll post some pics) We left the restaurant at about 1am, and then Derek and a couple friends came over to my house until 2:30am! YIKES....it was REALLY hard to get up at 7:00 this morning to school!!!!

It was SO much fun, I'm really sad that high school is officially over, but it felt SO good to walk across the stage and get my diploma and all those awards!

that's outside of the school with a few of my friends (note; i am NOT that tall...i was wearing about 3 inch heels!) (my feet KILLED by the end of the night!)

anyways, that's about all, this is just kind of a selfish thread, just wanted to post it because i am quite proud of myself
also...my i am in LOVE with my dress. (my friends kept telling me i looked like i was from the 1940s...which is a HUGE compliment to me )

so feel free to either ignore this thread...or maybe you could discuss your own graduation.

awesome! congrats on the graduation! haha, it looks like you guys had a blast... and aww.. you guys dont get cap n gowns? my graduation was a sea of yellow and purple (our school colors):

yea.. we had about 1000 kids in our class, and that pics just the front of the crowd .. it was too hard to find my friends after the ceremony, so we had the graduation parties before our actual graduation haha... and whats all of this talk about the hot bf?.. your the pretty one in those pictures, not sure why anyones looking at anything else

I don't get why people didn't show up!
A few people who didnt come went to the after party....why wouldnt you want to get your flippin diploma?!?!

Yeah I was kinda of disappointed that we didn't get caps & gowns, but the school's pretty cheapo like that!!
It was kind of sad not to have anything to throw in the air when we were all clapping & celebrating.
I guess I'll have to wait four MORE years for that!
