My dd's school has a unique grading system. They are graded on a scale of 1 - 5 as follows:
1 - Below average and qualifies you for Special Ed, indicates you have a serious problem. Will probably stay back.
2 - Working toward goal
3 - Right where you should be
4 - Outstanding (Probably equivalent to an 'A')
5 - Brilliant to the point where you should skip a grade. Our school has only awarded a '5' once in the 6 years this grading system has been used.
I expect my daughter to get all 3's and 4's. She will NOT get a '5'. Do you think the HRH will consider a 5 to be an 'A' and deny her the reward program? I would like to know in advance because I don't want her to be crushed!
Thanks!
