DH is talking about going back to school but with work and kids, it would take him a little while to complete it. What is the time frame that they say you should finish in? Three, four years? I see that he needs to take 10 courses so I am trying to estimate how long a committment this is!

That's such a broad question--I think it depends on the program (MA, PHD?) and what the requirements are.

For example, I completed my MA in 1 year (4 quarters with 3-4 classes per quarter) while I was part-time teaching. However, an MA in education is about one of the easiest things to do

I was looking into going into school psychology and that is about a 2 year program plus 300-500 hours of in-school experiance.

Do the classes meet once a week...everyday...If they only meet once a week, I would think handeling 2 or 3 a semester/quarter isn't a stretch, but then again, depending on the field, there could be loads of extra research or lab time needed.

Requirements vary by school. However, in general, you need to take one course minimum per semester and have 6-8 years from the time you started your grad program to complete it.

They meet once a week. We thought one course per semester would still allow time for work and family. DH works about 50 hours a week and with two teens still at home, time is something we're kind of short on.
