Grad school graduation gift ideas?

My nephew just finished his coursework for his master's degree and we're having a little party for him this weekend. I need a little something for him but have no idea what to get. He's had his own apartment for 3-4 years, has a steady job and lives away from home. I'd like to spend under $35 and I like to be the "fun aunt" and not give stodgy gifts. Ideas?

A favorite gift of mine (received and given) is an experience not a thing..tickets to something, a nice dinner out, etc. My uncle got us luau tickets for our honeymoon. Things like that mean a lot. I know your price point is low but look around and see what you can think of. Maybe a bowling pass or local sports team tickets.

For my neices and nephews, once they hit their 20's (actually since they were 16), money is what I sent and was want they wanted. For Christmas, I send them a gift card to the store they like to shop at. A specialty grocery store one for the one neice, a bath and beyond one for the other neice, and a gas card for the nephew.

Does he have a favorite store or restaurant? Does he have any hobbies? Maybe find a small item or gift certificate from a place he likes.

That's nice to hold a party. Congrats to him!
