Grad Nite hours on calendar?

Forgive me if this has been discussed somewhere else. I'm noticing grad nite hours (8am-10pm) listed on the DL website calendar. I've not seen this before. I thought the grad party went to 3am or so in recent years? Have they changed the format this year?

No, I don't think they've changed the format. The main Grad Nite event is still in DCA after the park closes to the general public. Grad Nite attendees do have access to both parks during the day, so perhaps that's why it's now listed on the calendar.

My guess is that the Grad Nite tickets are good for that day so they are showing it on the calendar. But it sounds like to me the grads meet at the schools, and they are bused in. So, I don't think they arrive until later on in the afternoon.

It varies depending on the group. I noticed more kids (and adults) with wristbands as the day progressed, but there were a few groups there in the morning.
