Grad nights in May?

We are going to DL and DCA in May. We are arriving May 16th and leaving on the 19th. I believe these are grad nights? It looks like the 16th and 17th are, so does that mean our only opportunity to see WOC will be on the 18th? I guess this means I should go ahead and get preferred dining package to make sure we get a chance to see it. Also, I'm guessing there will be no chance of seeing Fantasmic? We leave Saturday morning so we should have a late night friday. I planned a trip during the week so the crowds would be less but I didn't realize they would shut the park down early? This is my first trip to DL/DCA, do yall have any tips so that I make sure not to miss out on the shorter days? Thanks for all input!

This is the first year with the new grad night schedule so it is unclear what will be showing on weeknights. But it is more likely than in years past that Fantasmic will show every night. And WOC typically does show every night. and the parks will not shut down early.

Grad nights don't close the park early anymore. Plus they'll be in Disneyland so WOC should still be showing. Fantasmic! only shows on weekends so Friday night would be your only night to see that and fireworks.
