Grad night

I have reservations for 4/23-4/27 to celebrate DD 18th (4/23) and DS 13th(4/24) birthdays and have just found out that there is Grad nights on 4/23 and 4/24 what do I need to know to avoid all the extra teens or will they not be in the park during regular hours?

Traffic will be heavier during the day, yes, as there will be a large amount of Guests. The Resorts are usually filled to capacity during Grad Nights. The vast majority of Grad Night activities take place at the Magic Kingdom, and they generally run from midnight (after they've closed the park to regular Guests) until 5 AM. You may, however, see large groups being led to and from various attractions later in the afternoon. As part of Grad Night, some schools opt to have an event (e.g. dinner in the Rotunda of the American Adventure and a private IllumiNations viewing) before heading off to the Magic Kingdom.

You shouldn't have to worry about it too much. We were there for a day last May when Gradnite was that night and didn't run into any huge groups of teens. It is a separate admission, only to MK after hours (and boy is it fun!). You shouldn't notice too much other than the MK will close early. AH, those GradNite memories! Wang Chung was the headliner band the night I went, anyone remember them?

thank-you for the replies, I guess I shouldn't worry! My DD is all excited that there will be lots of seniors there.
