I thought there was only going to be one grad night during our May trip, but I was wrong.....there are 2. Are all these kids showing up at 8AM or do the kids show up more in the afternoon hours?
I'm just trying to plan our days out.
I'm wondering if we should spend our one non grad night day at California Adventure or Disneyland, or are the kids just everywhere you go!?

Thanks to anyone who can offer any advice or tips!!

Would you mind pointing me to the Grad Night dates? We have a trip planned for late May. Thanks!

The grads arrive on buses, generally showing up in the afternoon.
Many kids will be in DL until the exclusive party starts in DCA.

The grads by in large will not show up at park opening. Early morning hours are still great times to tour both parks even on Grad Night days. With that said, if you want to do the bigger headlining thrill rides it is best to do them in the morning because there will be much longer lines for those in the evening hours. Also, since the Grads after party is in DCA, a lot of them will start their time in DL and then start to move over to DCA as it gets closer to 10pm.

When we were there in June last year, we did notice the crowds pick up in the later day and evening. But if you do more shows in the evening like we did you won't notice them too much. Also, hopping to DCA is a good strategy as many teens will be in DL before heading to DCA for the after hours party.
