Grad Bash

We are going to Universal April 26-28 staying at the HH. I have read about the Grad Bash and I believe it is happening that weekend.....Can anyone fill me in on this and do they close the parks early?

Grad Bash is a hard ticket event for high school seniors which requires separate admission to attend. Both parks will close at 6PM for the event but both parks will open at 8AM instead of 9AM so it's kind of a wash on the hours.

I am nervous now but we can't change our days at Universal. Any tips for us would be a great help

You're staying onsite at the HRH right? If so, you'll have unlimited Express so wait times will be minimal for you. Crowds are not projected to be bad since the two park Express Plus pass is only $45.99/per person. But like I said, if you're staying onsite you won't need to worry about wait times.

i know the grad adventure tickets allows the kids into the park at 4:00 pm.
probably the same set up as the Grad Bash for start time.

the event itself begins at 7:00 pm.

assume that there will be groups that will go early as their gate ticket allows.

you'll be using the express lines so you will be fine as far as ride waits.

I had my Grad Bash at IOA.

We didn't get there until right before the opening of it.

I don't know how other schools do it that are further away though. My HS was only about 1 1/2 hours away so we were bussed that afternoon.

***I'm still mad about Grad Bash. My FAVORITE band Unwritten Law was supposed to play and they got kicked out/cancelledconfused3) on the first night. We were there on the second. I'm not over the heartbreak yet.

Yeah...I don't think Grad Bash allows early entry but I know Gradventure does.
